{"id":855,"date":"2018-03-09T00:39:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-08T22:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/macromedia\/start-here\/"},"modified":"2023-01-04T18:16:41","modified_gmt":"2023-01-04T16:16:41","slug":"start-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/en\/start-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Start Here \u2013 Startup \/ Shut Down"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basic terminology:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You have installed Parallels &amp; the XXX.pvm on <strong>Your Mac<\/strong>. \u2013 This computer is called the <strong>HOST OS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parallels opens the XXX.pvm file and creates a virtual computer that runs within a window \u2013 this is the <strong>Guest OS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Guest OSX<\/strong> runs within the <strong>Host OSX.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Start-up:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Open Parallels \u2013 Locate the Control Center and Click on the apple icon next to XXX. If you don\u2019t see the Control Center window then click on the Window dropdown menu and select Control Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"573\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/macromedia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start-1024x573.jpg\" alt=\"Posar en marxa\" class=\"wp-image-852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start-1024x573.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start-1536x859.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.macromedia.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Start.jpg 1688w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The virtual OS will boot up \u2013 just like a computer would \u2013 but in a window within Parallels software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Shut Down or Reboot.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Like all old Operating System, it is a good idea to shut them down on a daily basis so as to empty\/reset caches and free RAM.
